The SBA has long been a cornerstone of support for American entrepreneurship. Over its seven-decade history, it has helped countless businesses, from startups to household names, grow and flourish. South Post Oak Recycling Center stands as a testament to this legacy, having evolved from a local enterprise to a recycling industry leader with the SBA’s invaluable assistance.

Founded in 1994, South Post Oak Recycling Center was built by catering to working-class heroes such as plumbers, electricians, and HVAC technicians. SPORC offered a convenient platform for these workers to dispose of their metals, like brass valves and insulated copper wires, gathered from various job or project sites over days or even weeks. Today, SPORC has grown its reach to encompass manufacturing, governmental bodies, demolition firms, and large corporations spanning facilities, maintenance, property disposal investment recovery, and asset disposition.
